One of eZhire’s partner (Vendor Car Rental Company) closest to your location will deliver the car to you.
What are the delivery & collection timings?
Since we are in the beta stage the current delivery & collection timings are from 0800 hrs to 1900 hrs however in coming months it is going to be 24hrs.
How can I pay the rent?
Since we are in beta stage currently, you will have to pay the rental amount to the driver who delivers the car, however within few months we will be having the payment gateway integrated into our app and you will be able to pay directly via the app using the credit card.Change–Payment will be taken from customer’s credit card at the time of Car Delivery.
What is the mode of payment?
The preferred mode of payment is the Credit Card, however, you can pay with Debit Card as well.
Do I need to pay any security deposit?
1 We can have a Pre-authorization of AED 750 on the Credit Card when the driver delivers the car to you. Note we will not be charging this amount this is only a Preauthorization.
2 Refund will be processed 20 days after returning the car. Please note it might take several days for the refund to reflect on your statement. eZhire will notify you once the refund process is initiated.
We highly recommend you to provide us the credit card for pre-authorization as there won’t be the hassle later of providing the cash back to you.

Are the Cars insured?
Yes the cars are insured as per UAE law in case of an accident if you provide us with Green Police Report there won’t be any charges, however if the accident is caused because of your fault and you get Red Police Report there will be excess insurance charges, which depends on the type of car and the extent of the damage, usually it ranges from AED 200 to AED 1500 for normal cars.
In case of a Hit and run, Case Police Report is Required. Max excess will be charged.
What happens if an accident occurs?
In the event of an accident, you must notify the police immediately. You should not move the vehicle until the police issue a report. Failure to submit a police report will render
you liable for all cost incurred as a result of the accident.
Failure to submit a police report will result in no insurance coverage.
If it’s not your mistake and you provide Green Report no damage charges will occur.
If it’s your mistake and you provide with Red Report up to Maximum liability will be charged.
Do I need to pay a surcharge in case of a traffic fine?
Yes, there will be a surcharge of AED: 30 Plus 3% of the fine amount.
Is there any limit on mileage?
the daily mileage is 300 km per day, 1750 km per week and 5000 km per month. (Renault & Infinity 4000 km per month)
Will I be charged for the excessive mileage?
Although the mileage is more than enough and crossed in very rare cases but in case you drive extra miles then you will be charged as follows:

Economy: AED 0.30 per Kilometer
Sedan: AED 0.40 Per Kilometer
SUV: AED 0.45 Per Kilometer
Luxury: AED 0.50 Per Kilometer
Who can rent a car?
Minimum age to hire a car is 21 years, your license needs to be at least 1 year old. If you are on a residence visa in UAE then you should be holding UAE driving license. If you are on a tourist visa then you need to have a valid home country local plus international driving license.
Do you have partial day policy?
24 hrs is 1-day Rental, plus 1 hour grace period. After that 2nd day will be charged.
What if I lose the key to my car or if it gets locked for any reason?
We will provide you a replacement key if the car is locked for any reason. An additional charge of AED 50/- will apply. Lost key charges will be notified once rates are confirmed by the manufacturer.
Are there any delivery charges?
delivery charges are AED 39.
Are there any collection charges?
Collection Charges are AED 39
What is your fuel policy?
Customer has to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel, failing to do so the difference in fuel will be charged to the customer plus AED 20 Service Charges.
Who can Rent A Car? (Driving License Requirements)
The renter and the driver have to be in possession of a valid driving license.
United Arab Emirates residents require a United Arab Emirates driver’s license.
Drivers from the GCC countries are required to present an original passport. GCC identification cards are not accepted.
Customers on resident/employment visa or if the resident visa is under process are required to have a UAE driving license which must be at least one year old. If the UAE driving license is less than one-year-old then a supporting driving license providing that the driver has been driving more than 1 year is required.
Customers from Japan, The Republic of Korea, Greece and Turkey are requested to have a translation of their driving license, which must be approved by their embassy or consulate.
Customers from China are requested to have a notarized translation of their driving license.
Valid national driving licenses from the following countries are accepted:
North America: Canada, USA
East Asia & Pacific: Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea
Europe: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway,Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom
Middle East: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar
Africa: South Africa
International customers also have to be in possession of an international driving license.
Customers must present a valid passport in the Roman alphabet at the time of rental as proof of identification.
Kindly note that we require the following documents to be presented to the driver upon handover of the vehicle:
– Original passport or Emirates ID.
– Original Driving License – supported by the original driving license that should be above one year old.
– Valid Credit Card if payment mode is Credit Card.
All credit/debit cards details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.
The Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore the Customers’ are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.
Terms and Condition
Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE.
United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile.
Minors under the age of 18 shall are prohibited to register as a User of this website and are not allowed to transact or use the website.
If you make a payment for our products or services on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection.
The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.
We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED (or any other agreed currencies).
For Car Hired the Car Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions will apply signed upon delivery of the vehicle.

eZhire.life will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of UAE”.
Multiple transactions may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment.
Free cancellation 7 or more days prior booking date Less an administrative and transaction charges.
Following are the charges if a booking is canceled within 7 days prior to booking. Daily Rental Charge (One-day Rental plus administrative and transaction charges) Weekly Rental (2 days Rental plus administrative and transaction charges), Monthly Rental (3 days Rental plus administrative and transaction charges)
NO SHOWS/LOST RENTALS
If you fail to cancel your reservation prior to the Pick-Up/Delivery Date or Time, we reserve the right to make a No Show/Lost Rental Charge up to 3 days of rental plus administrative and transaction fee.
